Za Khai Tuang (Note: This article is not a peer review article).
Tuang Za Khai’ research interests include plant-pathogen interactions, plant stress responses, and the mode of action of the bacterial Type III secretion system. Through his research, Tuang aims to deepen our understanding of complex plant-microbe relationships. This work has significant implications for plant health, agricultural practices, and the development of innovative crop protection strategies.
He is currently investigating the mode of action of Acidovorax citrulli type III effectors in their interaction with melon and watermelon.
Tuang Za Khai’s research interest primarily focuses on plant-microbe interactions, with a particular emphasis on plant-pathogen interactions.
The research has potential applications in improving crop resilience, developing disease-resistant plants, and enhancing agricultural productivity.
